Hi, I’m Faisal Alsarraf.

Faisal Alsarraf is an underwater photographer driven by a deep passion for the ocean and its hidden worlds. Through his lens, he captures intimate moments beneath the surface—where light, life, and movement come together to tell powerful visual stories.

He has dived and photographed in some of the world’s most diverse marine environments, including Lembeh Strait, Raja Ampat, the Red Sea, the Cayman Islands, Mexico, the Maldives, Kuwait, and the Caribbean. From rare macro subjects to wide-angle reef scenes and open-water encounters, Faisal’s work reflects both range and depth of experience.

His photography focuses on revealing the personality, beauty, and drama of marine life, blending careful composition with a strong sense of mood and storytelling. Every image is created to draw the viewer into the underwater world and create an emotional connection with what lies beneath the surface.

When he is not diving, Faisal continues to explore, learn, and refine his vision, always searching for new ways to capture the ocean’s most unforgettable moments.

My Approach

Photographing with Intention

I enter the water with a clear vision, not just a camera. Before taking a single frame, I study the light, the water, and the behavior of marine life. Every image begins with understanding the moment, not forcing it.

Letting the Ocean Lead

The ocean is never predictable — and that is its beauty.Instead of chasing subjects, I slow down and let the scene unfold naturally. This patience allows real, unrepeatable moments to appear in front of the lens.Through every step, we've focused on staying true to our values and making space for thoughtful, lasting work.

Creating Images That Feel Alive

My goal is not only to show what lives underwater, but how it feels to be there. Through composition, light, and timing, I aim to create photographs that carry emotion, depth, and a sense of presence.
